Exploring the unexplored is now at your fingertips with next-generation submersibles taking intrepid adventurers where no one has ever gone before.  However, a submersible is not like other luxury toys you can simply get in and drive off.  SubMerge offers consulting services for submersibles for both personal and professional use.

Our hands-on team will ensure a seamless and efficient experience every step of the way including:

 

  • Defining your primary and secondary missions prior to the purchase, design and construction phase, or the installation of an existing sub, ROV or underwater mapping system.
  • Optimization of the ship’s deck and underwater operations area including a dedicated workshop, oxygen and battery charging.
  • Define best crew practices for underwater equipment handling both onboard and at sea.
  • Produce an operational log suite: maintenance, spare parts, battery log, pilot pre-checklists, communication, video, observation logs and more.
  • Oversee class survey procedure and work.
  • Incorporate mandatory surface control operations along with seamanship protocols.

 

Oceanwave - Powerboat

This RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver.

 

It teaches boat handling and seamanship in powerboats and focuses on low-speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed and collision regulations.

 

While not an obligatory requirement, it has now become industry standard for yacht crew to obtain the powerboat Level 2 and it is recognised by most European administrations for the operation of small craft under 10m.

The certificate issued will be endorsed to show the type of boat in which the training took place.

 

This qualification also allows successful candidates to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

  • Courses take place over 2 days
  • Instructor / Student ratio 1:3
  • No prior knowledge or experience necessary
  • Candidates must have a working knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Access to a powerboat will be provided by the course provider
  • Examinations are included in the cost
  • Courses are based around Monaco and Antibes

Producing engaging and instructive training videos for your on board safety regime", CBSV work with all the training providers and crew to generate bespoke video and image based procedures for the benefit of all those on board. Having worked within the Superyacht industry for over 20 years the film team are experienced enough to know the intricacies of this unique environment and can work around the complexities of builds and refits to generate encapsulating and engaging productions.

  • Guest safety videos – shows guests that crew are very safety conscious but in the event of an emergency there are established procedures guests need to follow for their own safety.
  • Crew safety videos - generated during the on board training of the crew, the production is built around the vessel requirements. We expertly film your crew, your procedures and your equipment on your yacht during the exercises STG go through with you for your on board training videos. We also produce CREW FAMILIARISATION VIDEOS for your new crew walk around according to your Safety Manual.
